Filter Values
Filter values setup defines the available values for each of the filter groups, see the process description above. You can also specify the colors for categories, time markers and pins inside NAV when using the RTC or Windows client. In the DS filter value page, click the AssistEdit button to open the color picker.
Filter values vs doc filter values
The document filter values are the filter values that belong to a task or a resource. The document filter values of a task or resource are usually a subset of the filter values, which are a list of the available values for a filter group.
The document filter values of a task determine the characteristics required by a resource to perform the task. Here are some examples that make this abstract concept more tangible:
- Which skills are required from a person to carry out a task?
- What is the minimal pressure or power required from a machine?
- What minimum capacity is required for a conference room?
