Appointment colors

Appointments on the planning board are color-coded by their category, time marker, and pin. The colors are not random - they're set per indicator, and they're the main way users tell job types, statuses, and flags apart at a glance.

Most back-office systems seed the indicators themselves (the categories, time markers, and pins) but not the colors. Setting the colors is therefore typically done inside Dime.Scheduler, once, after the indicators arrive.

Open the indicators page and pick a color per row: see Indicators for the full walkthrough.

You can read more about how indicators surface visually on the board in Planning board - Visual indicators.
