• Assign multiple resources on different dates and times to a single sales document.
• Create or update resource lines on the sales document as you plan those resources in Dime.Scheduler.
• Update the document's selected dates based on the first and last planned taskPlanned taskAn appointment together with the resources assigned to it - the full picture of what will be done, by whom, and when..
• Pre-assign resources: if you add resource lines to the sales document in NAV before sending it to Dime.Scheduler, those lines become planned tasks in Dime.Scheduler.

Configuring sales documents

• Select "Enable Sales planning" to turn on the FastTrack solution.
• Select "Send Sales Header as Task" to create a single taskTaskA unit of work that belongs to a job. It appears in the open task list until it is scheduled to a resource. in Dime.Scheduler for the sales document.
• Select "Send Tasks with Sales Header" to create a task for each sales line.

ℹ️ By design, only sales lines of type item are sent to Dime.Scheduler, however this can be modified if required.

• A planned task in Dime.Scheduler defaults to 1 hour when you drag and drop it from open TasksOpen taskA task that has not been scheduled yet. It waits in the open task list to be placed on the planning board. onto a resource on the planning boardPlanning boardThe main graphical scheduling surface where dispatchers drag tasks onto resources across a timeline.. Enter a different value in "Default Duration Sales Task" to override this default.

• Select "Send Resources with Order" if you want resource lines entered on the sales document in NAV to become planned tasks in Dime.Scheduler when the document is sent.

• Select "Create Resource Lines" if you want resource lines to be created and updated on the sales document based on the planned tasks in Dime.Scheduler. This differs from assembly order planning, where resource lines are always created or updated.

• Use "Update Date" to choose which date on the sales document is updated based on the planned tasks in Dime.Scheduler. This is only applicable when "Create Resource Lines" is selected.

  The options are:

  • Blank: no date is updated
  • Shipment Date (H): on the Sales Header is updated
  • Promised Delivery Date (H): on the Sales Header is updated
  • Shipment Date (L): on the Sales Line is updated
  • Planned Shipment Date (L): on the Sales Line is updated
  • Planned Delivery Date (L): on the Sales Line is updated

ℹ️ Updates are validated so other dates might be updated as well.
