Plugins are applications in the Dime.Scheduler ecosystem that have their own distinct feature set. They are not part of the core of Dime.Scheduler but they provide crucial links with other systems in an organization's technological landscape. One such example is the back office connector. The planning application does not directly connect with ERP systems, instead it relies on the back office connector to make the connection from and to ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This architecture makes integration very simple and flexible.
