Application Setup - Map
The Map tab is where you set the tenant-wide defaults for the map: the company address that anchors the view, and the routing preferences that decide how distance and travel time are calculated.
Think of the values on this page as the starting point, not the final word. Each planner can override these four fields on their own profile:
- Calculate route and travel time
- Unit of distance
- Route profile
- Show waypoints
That means there is no need to ship users a "perfect" default - it just needs to be a reasonable one. Power users will adjust their profile; everyone else inherits what you set here.
Company address
The company address is the pin the map opens to when nothing else is selected. With a Basic Map license, a Verify address button appears once both fields are filled in. Clicking it geocodes the address and stores the resulting latitude/longitude on the tenant; once verified, the coordinates replace the button.

Routing defaults

| Calculate route and travel time | Activate automatic route calculation on the map. A route is calculated between all selected tasks and appointments. |
| Unit of distance | Select the unit in which the calculated distance is displayed on the map. Options: Kilometer, Mile. |
| Route profile | The vehicle profile used for route, distance and travel time calculation. Options: Car, Van, Truck, Motorcycle, Bicycle, Pedestrian. |
| Show waypoints | Show the route selection sequence by displaying a number in the pins on the map. |
